Focused on Creative Exploration and Connection
Workshops are structured to offer a supportive environment that fosters exploration and experimentation with materials. The emphasis is placed more on self-expression and social connection than on achieving a specific final outcome.
GUIDED WORKSHOPS
Senior Art
One on One
Senior art workshops are designed to give residents the opportunity to connect with one another while exploring various art techniques and materials. These workshops foster a collaborative environment where participants can learn from and inspire each other through the creative process
One-on-one senior workshops offer individuals a dedicated space to independently explore artistic techniques or materials at their own pace. These personalized sessions also provide an opportunity for residents to share personal stories and engage in deeper exploration of specific art forms that interest them.
Calendar
Innermost Artist is working towards adding more dates to the calendar. Currently booking Saturday sessions.

Nurturing Creativity with Expert Guidance
Teaching artists draw upon their artistic expertise to create workshop experiences that empower participants to express themselves freely through the art-making process. Their guidance fosters confidence and encourages experimentation with a variety of materials. Throughout the process, teaching artists provide personalized feedback, engage in encouraging and constructive conversations, and share their knowledge of techniques — all to inspire creativity, build meaningful connections, and support artistic growth.

Blending Artistic Practice and Teaching Expertise
Ashley Fogg brings twelve years of experience in developing her personal artistic practice, during which she has explored a wide range of materials and techniques. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), which provided her with a strong foundation in visual art principles, studio practices, and creative exploration. Her Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) further enhanced her ability to communicate artistic concepts, design engaging learning experiences, and adapt her practice to diverse audiences.
In addition, Ashley has four years of professional experience in resident care communities, working as both a resident assistant and in engagement programming. This work has deepened her understanding of the unique needs and strengths of older adults, and has informed her ability to lead inclusive, therapeutic, and engaging art workshops that promote creativity, connection, and self-expression among elderly participants.
" Art has had a strong impact on my life. I lost my father to a long fought battle with cancer when I was 21 years old. I leaned on art as a way to cope with the thoughts and feeling of losing someone so important in my life. I created Innermost Artist to share how art can support us through life's hardships—offering healing, expression, and connection when we need it most."
Innermost Artist is looking to collaborate with cancer organizations to use art as a tool for support, healing, and awareness.
If your organization is interested in partnering, please reach out to innermostartist@gmail.com. Looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact.

WINNING PHOTOGRAPH
"Looking Through The Window"
His daughter, who encouraged him to submit the photo, shared the story behind the shot:
“He was looking out the kitchen window and He said He never remembered ever seeing a rainbow to the west and that's what stood out to him. A sun shower was occurring and He saw the rainbow and snapped the picture.”
She also reflected on what the photo meant to her:
“I remember when I saw the picture, I recalled my childhood. I grew up chasing rainbows... I'd run to the field to try and reach the end of the rainbow before it disappeared... Each time I see a rainbow it reminds me of my carefree days as a Child.”
